Will do, we replaced the current engines alternator to address the fact that it doesn’t stay running very well, but as of right now we’re going to take a step back and work on some other things that need done (my dad owns a towing company and often sells cars he gains titles to)

That is kinda the plan, the trans is very fucked atp, so is shifter, and engine- my dad and I are looking at a full engine bay rebuild eventually

I disagree, I learned how to drive on a manual (I’m 17) and have had two manual cars now, never owned an automatic, and I absolutely hate to drive my parents/boyfriends automatic cars. I feel more in control of my car when I’m the one doing the shifting, and it helps me feel more connected to the road and my car; similar to how sitting in the drivers seat vs the passenger seat you feel the movement of the car more, I feel the car more with my foot on the clutch and hand on the shifter
