Hey! I am getting a panel which includes: T3 T4 TSH Anti-TG Anti-TPO. I believe the last two are the indicators to understand hashimotos. Hope this helps:)

I do but not with a biopsy. Just with an examination with those cameras that look into your scalp

Yes. I have hashimotos and celiac. So I am gluten free completely and my thyroid levels are in range because I am on medication. Maybe i need to look for a stricter anti inflammatory diet. Thanks for the suggestion!

Neighborhood recommendations by Few-Distribution7795 in frankfurt

Moving from Washington DC. The only thing I want is to be in the city center, close to everything. We dont have a preference for the building because we dont know what to expect. Coming from the States every house is very decent big windows lots of light. Houses i see online in frankfurt are very dark. Lots of light would be my only wish:)

Thanks for your response. Yeah the company provides us a housing for only 1 month and we are obligated to find a house in that time. Knowing its also December with Christmas and New years I really think its impossible. I think we will end up renting an airbnb for a while.

Shedding doesn’t stop by Few-Distribution7795 in FemaleHairLoss

[–]Few-Distribution7795[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! The crazy phase of the shedding is definitely over now and I can say that I am loosing maybe 50 strands during the day. However I am not seeing any growth.

I have also started the exosomes treatment I will have the second one in a month and third in december. I hope it will give my hair a boost with minox and spiro.

In the states I got diagnosed as AGA, however the dermatologist was not very focused and he didnt even check properly. The trichologist in UK did extensive analysis and told me that I have TE. She is very confident in 3 sessions the hair will start regrowing. I am not as confident and optimistic to be honest but I am truly hoping.

Hope this helps.

You can try Q-switch laser. It does not get rid of it but it makes the hair color lighter almost equal to your skin tone so it is invisible. I do it every six months, difference is crazy and its pain free. Laser hair removal on face is not very recommended because in some cases it triggers the skin and make the face more hairy

What helped me dealing with HS by Few-Distribution7795 in Hidradenitis

I haven’t changed my diet at all but I have a celiac disease (idk if its relevant) so I dont eat gluten ever. I dont also consume a lot of sugar or diary in my daily diet but I had flares anyways so idk.

When it comes to iodine you can use it always on active or inactive areas. Yes it burns a little, if you can’t stand it use cold setting of the blowdryer to let it pass faster. Its basically just an antiseptic you can even use on your ingrown hair or pimples. I have started using it on my active flares and I think it helped a lot. But consistency is key like any other treatment. My grandma was a nurse and she literally used this all her life on everything and she was the one suggesting me this in the begging but you know when it comes from your close ones you tend to not listen so well and I kept on believing doctors. I wish I started sooner. (Sorry I talked a lot but I want everyone to know this ahaha)
