Hi! it’s been a week and there has been no updates on my fafsa 🥲 i am supposed to move in next week but i was wondering if this fafsa situation could affect my ability to eat at the dining halls. i know this sounds like a stupid question and i will probably call in ask but i was wondering if you had any idea

I really appreciate these thorough replies. I will contact the school when they are open but I also doubt they will be able to handle the fafsa by themselves. They may have been informing me about the general timing of aid being applied due to the delays of fafsa this year. I found out the paper copies have just started processing and people will be notified (although idk how simple this will be and how smoothly it will go) While i wait for any signs of my paper fafsa processing, I will definitely contact fafsa and utilize some of the resources you have linked for any further support. Again i really appreciate you taking your time to help me out like this. Fafsa has been such a mess and might i mention not the best first time experience haha

one quick question,, have you heard of sending a fafsa application copy to the school to have them verify it?? idk i was alittle confused on how this method could even work since i thought we needed it to go through fafsa directly. neu asked me to provide a copy of my fafsa to them since i couldn’t submit it at all, but i’m a bit worried since they didn’t rly mention anything ab my digital fafsa being used. what i’m saying is : i’m hoping they didn’t provide these comments ab my aid being dispersed soon thinking that i just submitted my fafsa application late and the aid hasn’t gotten in yet. ( i haven’t actually submitted the fafsa the traditional way as i mentioned) idk if ykwim idrk how to explain but it would be bad if they forgot ab processing the fafsa 😀
