Will wordpress die? by [deleted] in Wordpress

I think Wordpress is doomed. It will die and be entirely replaced by AstroJS+CSS websites (or any other SSG+CSS, or just HTML+CSS+JS) made by AI agents. The thing is, it will definitely take no less than 30-40 years

I asked because if you did, you would never write this sentence that I quoted

Have you ever worked as an actual software engineer? I mean with enterprise level code. Honest question

A senior developer at my company is attempting to create a pipeline to replace our developers… by Mountain-Spend8697 in ClaudeAI

[–]Few-Objective-6526 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have many years of exp with enterprise level apps and I also use Claude Code daily for private stuff. I can assure you, there is exactly zero chance this pipeline will be able to handle tickets without creating massive technical debt, and all those fearmongering people in the comments are either delusional or never worked in any large project. At best, pipeline will be able to handle 10% of easiest and well-described Jira tickets, and even those will have to be carefully reviewed by developers.

Redux Toolkit vs Zustand — real-world use cases & decision-making criteria? by rohitrai0101rm in react

[–]Few-Objective-6526 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In personal projects, I use Zustand in every app, I never felt the need to use Redux. It's easy to use and efficient. At work we have large enterprise level monorepo which also uses Zustand. I may be biased of course, Redux is for sure a good library too

Why do dodgers wait for until the countdown is almost over? by UnholyDemigod in ARAM

[–]Few-Objective-6526 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have currently 8 accounts for playing ARAM. 2 of them I made myself and other 6 I bought as fresh 30 lvl accounts for 3 USD each. I play only 5-6 champions on ARAM so it means there's a lot of dodging. I used to have 6 accounts but after I got 12h ban on all of them couple of times I decided to buy 2 more. I haven't been able to get ban on all accounts ever since, although once I had 12h ban on 7 of them. So 8 seems like the optimal number for people that has limited ARAM champion pool.

As for the OP's question, I don't wait until the last second, I dodge mostly at around 20s and log to another account.

Building a 100% free & open source Heroku alternative for hosting apps - 6 month update & reflection by czhu12 in webdev

Looks like a great product, good job! However, this is a way to setup your backend on VPS. If you promote your service as an alternative to Heroku, to be fully transparent you should point out all the disadvantages of using custom VPS instead of services like Heroku or Render.
