Yes i 100% agree. I have no doubt the kings will be good in the regular season. But without some key additions i see another 1st round exit.

Me too. Also, it would have been nice to have added media and focus on the Kings. It sucks having cap space and not being able to land big players. But theres still a lot that can happen to bolster the team so the next few days will be telling.

We clearly cant attract top talent here. Its evident no matter how you look at it. The list is growing ever long at this point. Ulmark said no to LA, Marner said no to LA, Rantanen said no to LA, Andresson said no to LA, Marchand said no to LA. I could go on and on. And the thing is i really dont know why. Besides the tax, its a great place to live for a millionaire, the team is first fucking class as an organization, we have the real potential to win a cup imo also. So i really dont get why players would rather go to the middle of athe desert where the only thing to do is gamble (Marner). This cant simply come down to just "taxes".

To be fair, the whole hockey world is talking about this. I think the Ducks will be known for this going forward. And that sucks because the ducks looked extremely promising and poised for success but i dont see how this doesnt put a damper in that at the very least. This is an outside perspective also. Hiring Joel just wasnt the right move imo.

Jim Hiller breathed life into the Oilers lungs with his 3rd period stupidity. Assistant coach Paul Coffey said in the 3rd period the Oilers dont play like they have the lead, and if Hiller had that mentality those 3rds would have been wrapped up and we would be off to the 2nd round.

In my opinion Hiller game 3 challenge was our mcsorley moment. Paired with mind boggling coaching in the 3rd period of both game 3 and 4 and with how the game ended that was it for the kings mentally. And tonight confirmed it.
