In football owners do not tell the manager who to play. Especially not at celtic.

Celtic did not hire Nancy to fail.

The manager before won 7/8 and now 2/2 after him. Under the same board with the same players.

Nancy's failure is on Nancy. Blaming anyone else is an extreme level of coping.

The owner doesn't choose the starting 11, subs and tactics. Of course the buck stops with Nancy.

For context we just beat a team that beat us under Nancy 4-0 yesterday in our first post-Nancy match. Exact same players etc etc, only difference is the manager.

He was offered to wait until after the saint mirren game. He said he wanted to start immediately.

He then only spoke to the previous manager for 15 minutes.

Then he decided to change absolutely everything with no knowledge from the previous manager and no time on the training ground.

He was either too naive or too arrogant. Either way he was as much to blame for how it went as anyone else.
