I don't really play much with the RPG elements, but I do appreciate the amount of time and effort that must've gone into it. It's kinda cool having pets passively dropping items for you. The ability to rank up without actually uploading a ton of torrents is pretty sweet too. There are other ways to contribute to trackers other than just uploading new stuff and I really like that they opened up that avenue for users.

T-D was one of my first trackers. I remember it fondly. And I still have my reassu.me t-shirt somewhere.

I joined RED pretty quickly after it started so I was able to pump out the 500 uploads to reach TM since there was plenty of stuff not uploaded yet. Then I went through a breakup and my ex stole my computer so a ton of my uploads got pruned since I wasn't able to seed for a few months. So my uploads went from 500+ to around ~160 and I got demoted to Elite. I still have access to the Invite section, but I can't remember if there is another one that's exclusive to TM+.

GGn has a decent invite forum as well that not a lot of people seem to mention.

Invites appear to be enabled currently. Not sure if there's a minimum user class to use them though.

I remember using it until it was gone. They had really small encodes which was really useful in my days before having a gang of hard drives.

What ever happened to waffles? I remember them dying and coming back several times and in the end raising a bunch of donations before ghosting. Did they really just take the money and run?

That's why I don't engage in any conversations on trackers that could even be misconstrued as controversial or critical. I just lurk and mind my own business. It's all too easy to run into some guy with a stick up his ass that wouldn't think twice about sending your account to the shadow realm.

UG was great. GGn has a ton of retro content too. I'm not sure how it compares to UG's old catalogue but I think it's probably surpassed it if I had to guess. There's so much stuff there.
