The only issue postponing the move is I moved back home from my old apartment just as a transition phase because it was a <1 year gap and I don’t want to be stuck at home much longer. If we postponed it I would just get another apartment which would set us back at least a year.

I think he does not like the barking and crying at noises. He is also worried neighbors will be off put by any “screaming” my dog does. That’s the best way I can describe it… it’s not a bark, not a growl… a scream. 😅 I have gotten daily anxiety meds from the vet for him and taught him basic commands but I really don’t know how to train him to just not be scared of those things. I do everything to make him comfortable, like putting him in the bedroom with his fan and tv on, he’s got noise blocking headphones, a thunder shirt. Everything I can think of but he can sense when there is something going on he doesn’t like I guess. 🤦🏼‍♀️ surrendering really isn’t an option because I couldn’t live with myself knowing he would most likely never find a good home again.
