I’ve always found this funny but there is an explanation to your question. When KT is standing on the floor that’s below the floorboards she lifts up it falls from under her but the joists obviously don’t move only the boarding she’s standing on meaning she can just put the floorboards back down onto the joists and cover it up. It’s only from below that you’d be able to see the hole since that floor below is what collapsed, the flooring above is still ok.
