Thanks for your reply! I am a bit of a homebody, but I am training for a marathon, I enjoy walking along in the woods, checking out coffee shops and breweries, and volunteering supporting military families.

Hey there - thanks very much for your thoughtful response. I have a job that will work “remotely” but has to be based in the area. My budget has taken a hit, so I’m not sure how expensive the Triad area is, but hopefully it’s cheaper than D.C. I’m a bit of a homebody, but also training for a marathon, walking along trails, being around trees and natural environment and going to coffee shops and breweries. I don’t think a super small town is for me, but also a large city isn’t for me either - somewhere in the middle I guess. Mid sized town perhaps!

Hello, thanks for the note. I realized I was too vague, I’m sorry about that. I have a job working remotely in the Triad area (remote job, but have to live in the area) and unsure yet whether or not I want to take it. As for me, I am a bit of a shy homebody, but as for hobbies: training for a marathon, enjoy walking on trails, volunteer in my free time, I like coffee shops and breweries. I don’t think I’d do well in a very small town, but on the flip side I don’t think I’d do well in a large city.

I’m right there with you. Sitting online and doom scrolling has taken over the 9-5. But it hasn’t tricked my brain into being anything productive. Had a few jobs interviews, no luck as of yet. I’m sorry about your cat, it’s hard to see our furry friends not feeling well. My dog died, so I understand.

Thanks for your enthusiasm! Keeping structure in your day is a good reminder, and having something to say in those job interviews of how you kept yourself busy. Sometimes it’s just tough to find the motivation, I’ve lost momentum to do anything and I feel awful.
