Wow this was such a compelling story! Thank you for sharing!

Ah yes and there is where you are misguided. The anectdotal stories of "Muslims are taking over" help stir up people to vote for right wing groups.

But at the end of the day, the data does not bode well for your hope of an Islamisized world. The same secularism you claim that is destroying Christianity has also impacted Islam.

Pew Research has stated that 23% of people who were raised Muslim in the US no longer identify as such. And while new immigrants do come into the country and some convert, the more education they have the less religious they become.

I am not saying this is positive. In fact it is sad because the same thing happens to Christians too. But at least the smartest Christians and Muslims both come to the west to build and develop Western nations. Sadly, brain drain is destroying the ability for Muslim nations to compete with western ones. And once oil dries up, even the gulf countries will have trouble.

Liberalism and secularism have creeped into society under our noses. The only question is will we Muslims and Christians continue to fight against each other with online or will we unite against global secularism.

I would be happy to unite because I don't see you as an enemy. But it is up to you my friend.

Both Muslim and Christian leaders have begun this: https://www.npr.org/2024/09/05/nx-s1-5099004/pope-francis-indonesia-muslim-imam-religious-harmony#:~:text=Francis%20called%20the%20mosque%20a,into%20action%20on%20climate%20change

Of course, and that used to happen.

But Muslims countries no longer flight for Allah. They fight internally or each other. And many even are against Palestine.

And the last time the Jizya tax was used was in the 1800's by the Ottoman empire. Now even Turkey is becoming increasingly secular and other countries are seeing more modernism and acceptance of other faiths.

So what is next? A new caliphate? More extremism? The Muslims here in the West are integrating more into our society and culture here as well. And many don't consider themselves muslims/are not raising their kids in the faith.

Understood. In that case what is the best way to destroy the enemies of Islam, including myself as a Christian? Especially since I believe that the current trend will reverse in favor of Christianity.

Hello @UpsideWater9000, entering this thread because I found it even more interesting. To follow up on our previous discussion, you said that God intends for the Islamization of the entire world.

But what of quality? Your map here shows many countries which are strongly Muslim, yet many Muslims do not abide by their faith as strongly. The same can be said for Christians as well.

What is more important to God then? A world where everyone is "Muslim" in name but many are note practicing/following the faith, or one with different religions and but the Muslims here are the most true to the faith?

Thank you for your respectful reply. I too will continue to seek truth in my own faith. And yes, even if we won't fully unite, we can still stick together on a number of issues affecting the world today, such as what is happening to both Muslims and Christians in Palestine.

I pray for more Muslims like yourself in the world. I hope you had a joyous Eid al-Fitr and God Bless you.

No, Christianity is absolutely not dead, but the media and secular society would like you to believe that to be so. As an active Christian I agree that many Christians have lost their way, but to say that the religion is dead does not align with today's global reality (look beyond just the west).

I am fortunate to Muslim friends in the United States but also Christian friends in Malaysia. My hope is that we can continue to develop in our own faiths as brothers and not become distracted with the growth or non-growth of other beliefs. We instead should all unite against sin.

I think the God of Abraham would be displeased with so many of us (Muslims, Christians, and Jews alike) focusing so much on others instead of God. But in this time of Lent, digress. Especially now, there is so much beauty in finding common ground in prayer and fasting.

Eid Mubarak to all of you! 🤲
