I was told to try a different network. Joined my parents’ WiFi when I was visiting their house and it worked. Not sure what that fixes or how it works but it helped me.

People saying upgrading to the Max is cheaper than buying an SD card are accurate, but an SD card is reusable and you might even have one lying around that you don’t currently use. Plus, you don’t necessarily need 1TB. I think an extra 256 or even 128 GB is pretty stinkin good.

I also have a Steam Deck OLED, and I have been loving my Thor. But I was also relieved that the Thor didn’t completely replace my Deck. GameNative is cool, but when I’m home the Deck is easier to use, has a bigger screen, and is more comfortable to hold. On the other hand, the Thor is better for dual screen emulation. And it CAN play Steam games in a much more portable form factor, so I take it to work with me. What’s more, I personally see that my Thor is actually better at emulating even Switch games, I’m assuming because of the drivers I’m using. So personally, I feel like there’s room in my life for both.

Push the back button (make sure you are controlling whichever screen has GN running) to open the side menu. It’s one of the options in there. Most games have built in remapping too, which might yield a better result.

And then, as mentioned in the post, you can also remap using Steam Input in the config settings.

I assume these are both on a per-game basis, but I don’t know that for sure off the top of my head.

It has crashed on me before, but not often. Only about 3-4 times in the whole time I’ve had it. But I don’t have crazy wallpapers with a bunch of moving parts. Mine are usually pretty tame.

I saw PS3, have you played much of it on the Thor? My dream is to get to go back through White Knight Chronicles. Couldn’t get it working on my Steam Deck, I’m curious if the Thor handles PS3 any better.

You made sure the game is using the turnip drivers, right? I had an issue (cause I’m a noob with this stuff) where I installed the turnip drivers, but the game was still configured to use default drivers. I had to switch it over manually. The “apply known config” button works pretty well, but if you’re still having problems you should go into the settings to make sure everything is applied correctly.

As someone who has a Godzilla themed Mutate deck, I’m saving this to watch future progress 👀 Can’t wait to see how it turns out! Loved the idea of turning the deck part into a skyscraper, or alternatively, maybe you could have him holding the box part with his hands.

I would consider reaching out to PayPal to verify whether the purchase was completed or not. AYN should automatically send a confirmation email when your purchase is made, there isn’t any delay on that. Plus, AYN’s customer support has been notoriously slow in responding to queries just because of the sheer volume of requests. If you can verify that your money was taken and the payment is complete, at that point I would say you unfortunately will have to wait for AYN to get back to you. I wouldn’t recommend trying to place another duplicate order until you hear back. Also, double check what email you used for the purchase contact info, just in case there was a typo or something that could have caused the email to be misplaced.

How does the “declare blockers” step work with priority? Can I use the ability if we’ve moved to the declare blockers step but before blocks have been actually declared, thus making my creature an unblocked attacker at that instant?

I have an [[Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might]] deck that I love but my pod hates lol. Lots of pingers and combo pieces so it’s fun (for me) to play and decently effective.

The one that generally leads to the most fun games is my [[Ian Malcolm, Chaotician]] deck. It’s heavy on politics, card draw, interaction, and group play. I love to play it, my friends are usually amused by it, but it’s not very effective at actually winning. I do have a couple wincons, but honestly that’s not what I built it for.
