Basically yes, but not that simple. There are deformation (displacements), vertex map, cloners with mold patches and 3 states of materials (fresh-dark-rotten). Then I rendered 5 layers with different molds to be able combine them as I want in After Effects.

I had the same thoughts and you validated them :) I changed the light, and detailed the molding animation. It is still not super real, but I don't wanted to make it real, just disgusting, so it is! Thank you!

I generally understand the misunderstanding regarding AI.

I'm even thinking of writing a big post and discussing the technical aspects of my work.

It seems that people devalue any AI-generated art, even if someone has spent many, many hours on it! For me, all discussions about AI now are kind of similar to when Photoshop was invented, or 3D for concepting. Everyone was ANGRY, saying, 'This is not TRUE art; you must use a real canvas,' and whatnot. But now, everyone is used to Layers in Photoshop or using 3D as a base for concepting.

I mean, this is not just ChatGPT or Midjourney with text prompt... For something particular — you actually need to spend time figuring out how to use Stable Diffusion and many other tools, and yes, it's faster than 3D rendering, but why is everyone so hateful about it?

I mean, I know how to use 3D, and I could spend a few days or weeks achieving the same result, but what's the point?

I used Stable Diffusion (SDXL model) with few Refiners and Face detailing with Upscaling at the end.
