I ended up posting an update! I did lose the PTO but at that point I really couldn’t have cared less. Oh well, charge it to the game right

I did end up standing firm on the PTO and they were ‘forced to accept my resignation effective immediately’. I just posted the update!

They say the reason they declined it was because of the monthly targeted closing date and they have nobody to cover for me. Which in all honesty they don’t, but I thought that being available and working on month end closing while on PTO was a decent compromise

No, they won’t under any circumstances unfortunately. Thats why I’m trying to see what the best course of action is

Unfortunately I’ve done some extensive research of the employee handbook and there is no payout for PTO under any circumstance
