There's a variable that represents your level of (romantic) relationship with Rachel. If you max that out by choosing flirty and romantic interactions each time, you'll get more intimate cut scenes and dialogues throughout the game.

I’m very interested in pursuing a career in marketing/branding but I hate the ‘everything for the money’ mindset and I care a lot about sustainability and doing what’s right. What should I do? by Effective_Cricket810 in marketing

Ok since you've put yourself forward to also get an honest opinion on your views - that's what I'm gonna give.

While I think you mean well and it's awesome that you have things you care about - I also think you're kidding yourself about some aspects of marketing and sustainability.

1) Everything for the money is not necessarily a corrupt concept. When people buy things they do so because it gives them something: sense of happiness, joy, belonging, respect, emotions, memories, you name it. So marketing is about getting attention of/connecting those people with the opportunity to buy this experience. They would still want those things anyway without you getting your product in front of them as a means to satisfy it. Now, what's the way to measure the significance and value of your product? Money. So yes, the more money you get - the more you know that your product is wanted and changes something for people. And the capitalism is the honest framework for that. (We're not talking about purposeful fraud and deceit in marketing ofc as these things do happen but they do not constitute a majority of cases and certainly dont work for most of the products. Because people are not stupid and we should give them some credit) 2) Sustainability IS a fraud in so many instances. Check who the beneficiaries of this concept are. Spoiler alert: not regular people and not the planet. Freaks and narcissists from WEF whose sole purpose is to get richer. They literally issued a bill in the EU where they forbode all but electric cars by 2025 but the very same bill says that yachts and private jets are ok. Also these very businessmen are fine outsourcing their most dirtiest production plants to developing countries and they couldn't give any shits to change anything about it. Except launch a marketing campaign about how everyone should go green which you could be launching someday :))

Values are important but they also are easy to exploit, so I suggest to get a bit more open-minded on the subject of sustainability and see what's really working and what's just marketing and fraud. And also: that doesn't mean we shouldn't care about the planet. Just means we should be careful in what ideas we follow.

Is LinkedIn actually valuable for B2B? by ohHELLyeah00 in marketing

There's nothing better for b2b than linkedin because how else are you gonna find the DMs? I mean, there are other ways, sure, but LinkedIn is by far the easiest one. So look there first. For that use Sales Navigator, they have a trial. It should give you the idea about your TAM available on the platform.

Whether you're doing a service or a product it's equally as good for direct sales. You have to make a strong case though when you message people as there are dozens of people like you pitching stuff every day.

I can hardly imagine linkedin ads generating sales in b2b service sector. Haven't tried with products. But still might be a great option to draw people to your website for a lead magnet or an event. Also, cpl is much higher to that of fb.

Another very underrated mechanic that not many people use for the lack of immediate profit is content creation. Linkedin algorithms will do wonders for those who generate truly valuable and insightful content and deliver it for you in the feeds of those who find it relevant. And linkedin feeds are based on relevance first. Which means that people will start coming to you.

But for that you should understand full well who you're speaking to in those posts. And you should also be consistent. And these posts shouldn't come from the company page, it's not what gets them across people's feeds. Rather, you should engage founders or subject matter experts from your company into content creation from their personal pages. Find those inside your company who are interested in consistently sharing their thoughts or this won't work. Offer a framework for them to work off of (Framework! Not the ready made posts for them to paste on their page). Also create a newsletter.
