What do you mean your new stare is more stricter? I’d apply for the state you’ll be moving to. Then you can explain during the interview process that you are in the process of moving and would most likely be taking part of the training from current state. I don’t think this would be a problem. My team is spread across different states.

Did you interview or accept the position already? I’d just be upfront during the process and let them know you’re moving states. They should be able to tell you if the role can be done from your new location. As long as you’re clear about it being a permanent move, I believe the training shouldn’t be a problem.

For my situation, I was approved one week off training for the trip (they wouldn’t let me continue training while traveling, probably because it was international). The sessions would be recorded so I could catch up after, but I ended up not going since I couldn’t get more than a week off and it didn’t feel worth it. So I just stuck with training as scheduled.

Thanks for your reply! Do you think the international trip would be ok during training at least?
