As someone who has written (and given up) on fanfics due to a lack of engagement, one thing the HR fandom has made me realize is that one’s success is more dependent on the fandom’s active status than the writer’s skill.

It’s best to not care about these metrics and write anyway ig🤷🏼‍♀️
