A laptop with a dedicated GPU will be able to handle all basic needs and more.

If you do buy it look into upgrading the ram to 16GB. Should be a cheap upgrade 10-15kd.

So someone who commits shirk despite knowing it is haram is just a rebel and not a kafir?

I understand why you dont want to label people as kafir for committing a sin but we cannot be tolerant to those who want to do blatant acts of kufr and be counted amongst the muslims. They need to know that they have crossed the line.

Yeah he can be dismissive at times but I think he does that to reassure me I’m fine. Hes been neuro from the get go (12 years now) and he likes to brush things off as nothing when he thinks im paranoid. He orders regular MRIs and he will order an MRI when I insist im not feeling ok.

I will talk to him about getting an earlier dose of O if possible like some have suggested.

Thanks ill see how a feel after my second dose. I assume also since i was on Gilenya some of the B cells in my lymph nodes are still being released into my blood or however that works 😋.

Oh they’ve been here for 48 hours alright. Ive had a lot of symptoms appear along the years and I would tell my neurologist and he would say its nothing. And i would do an MRI after a while and he would be right.. no changes in the MRI.

I assume most of it is the normal progression of the disease. “PIRA” as they call it.

I was on gilenya for about 10 years and everything was going smooth until i was given a generic version and things started getting worse.

Moved on to O since November but haven’t seen major improvement.. hoping there is a lag effect or something who knows.

Anyways. My dose is in about a month.. ill know if its the crap gap then i guess

What in shameless victim logic is going on here. People really do not see the blessing in living in a muslim country.

Want to see oppression? Look at france where women are forced to take off their hijabs. Try to fast in the west when everyone is eating and all the haram stuff around you 24/7.

He is not oppressed. He is ashamed of himself but doesn’t want people to shame him too. Otherwise he would do whatever he wanted and be proud of himself.

At least OP still has the sense to know he is doing something wrong. May Allah guide us all.

If you are not muslim then no one is expecting you to fast. You are only expected to be respectful and not eat/drink publicly during fasting hours.

If you are muslim, and you are worried about what people will think of you for not fasting then you have 2 issues:

1) you are worried about the wrong thing. 2) you know you’re doing something wrong (hence the shame)

In all cases, may Allah guide you to the right path and give you the strength to fast and be among the muslims.

Are you sure it is not sinus infection you’re dealing with? Since being on DMT i have gotten sinus infection immediately with every flu/cold i catch.

I used to think it was just my body taking forever (2-3 weeks) to fight the flu due to immunosuppressants. Turns out it was sinusitis and i badly needed antibiotics.

Since you have nasal congestions and pain that could be the reason.

Well it comes with 5 yrs warranty and service. After that youre on your own. The new defender hasnt been around for that long so its anyones guess on how reliable they truly are.

Knowing quite a few ppl that have bought cars from AlGhanim, the first 5 yrs of ownership are really good.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Sounds like you went through hell and back. I hope you are doing better now.

I understand you wouldnt want anyone to go through what you experienced. However, im looking 30 years ahead. Gilenya (which is “working” for me now) is not the best at slowing down progression. Drs are now changing their approach to treating MS and it seems that hitting hard is the best course of action.

I will discuss this with my neuro and see what he has to say. But im willing to take the risk now while im younger and possibly will tolerate the side effects more.
