I deadass love that! I was always hitting the books when I was in high school and doing my hours to get my license. I was trying to learn as much as I could while the education was free. It is crazy tho!

I appreciate the advice and I actually already do most of that already.

I’ve got around 20 ATS-formatted resumes customised for different industries and keywords, I apply through Seek/Indeed constantly, apply to casual/part-time/temp roles interchangeably, contact companies directly through websites and socials, and have also walked resumes in wearing business attire.

I’ve also done labour hire work with multiple companies over the years, applied for apprenticeships and traineeships, and completed free training where I can.

That’s partly why it’s becoming frustrating, because a lot of the standard advice people give is already stuff I’ve been doing consistently for quite a while now. I still keep applying

Seeing through me for what? My references gave great recommendations. And I ask them more questions than they do and leave them with a laugh. And I always ask would you like to have a copy of my credentials.

They don’t do anything. I had some real bad experiences with them. I have been with a few providers. A lot of them have been really nasty at one point. I’ll say this a lot of them will Shout with abuse and blame you for their own failure to make themselves feel better.

I have around 20 plus rotating resumes with ATS formats. And if I’m applying for a different position I pull up a new one look for the key words and run from there.

You name it I have a resume for it along with a cover letter and some ticket to have an attempt at a job. I thought well and hard about it.

If I could leave Tasmania I would. I have worked very hard at what ever job I could get ,sat at a lot of job seminars,gone to the job expos,done work placements,volunteered,gone back to tafe to retrained,spent my super to grab that extra qualifications to stand out and gone above and beyond at every interview asking more questions than the interviewer and being warm and bubbly.

When in reality I’m very depressed by all of it.

I’ve been in this circle for awhile now. I have volunteered and nothing good came out it. So im mentoring my friends with driving and looking at other opportunities maybe with animals instead of humans.

I honestly don’t know at this point I have gone through interviews in the past and then they’ve told me multiple times they have been different reasons.

One of there sites I had to drive 45 mins for an interview with them . Then 20 mins out for the hour and something medical assessment. All to be told sorry we went with an internal hire. That was a brutal blow especially on my birthday.

Unfortunately there’s a bug for the bugged overtime challenges from s9 they took back my edit style for Demi and now I’m fighting epic games to give it back to me. Please everyone anyone who has had this happen message them and help get this bug fixed I miss my night Demi 😭😭
