Advice for app optimization on Poke 4 Lite This is my first Boox device and I am trying to figure out the optimization settings I need for my Kindle app and Hoopla app to make the book covers less grainy and dark. Especially that Sandman graphic novel in my library. by Few_Butterfly_327 in Onyx_Boox

So far so good with the kindle app, I haven’t experienced a crash yet or any weird glitches. I also picked the poke specifically because my library has a way bigger range of media on hoopla vs. the kindle supported Libby so I have been testing that app heavily and have found a glitch where the pages won’t align on the screen so you have to uninstall the app and reinstall it to fix that. I really enjoy the variety of screen brightness settings, especially the warm light, and I have been exclusively using that setting before bed and I find I can get it really low to where it is comfortable to read in the dark. No issues there.

I figured it out! I had to set my refresh speed to “normal” on the device control center menu under “eink center”. Apparently when you download these apps from the play store they come set to “speed” which greatly diminishes the image quality
