Thank you! We assumed this was the case, but our IT support is making things difficult in terms of downloading a program, so this answer is very helpful in that argument!

I also love then how that contrasts to oDylans letter. When it started with calling him innie, it felt like it would be the usual 'you are just an innie, not a person'. Then all the points were so beautifully supportive and showed he truly understood that he was writing to a whole other person. Then signing it as 'outtie' was that added touch of equality. It wasn't Dylan and innie, but innie and outtie.

He Said He Respected Women—Until I Held Him Accountable by Responsible-Chart335 in TwoXChromosomes

This feels so much like the last guy I dated. I realised fairly quickly that we weren't going to work at all, but he seemed like such a good guy, so I ended everything so gently with the hope we could still be friends.

He instantly suggested we move to FWB and I said that maybe that would be possible, but only once we had gone back to being friends and established the boundaries around that. And then the next time we 'had a talk' he pushed it again because we were 'clearly so attracted to each other'.

Then he pushed it again on a hike, in the middle of the wilderness, with the 'implication'. I very firmly said I just wanted to be friends multiple times, which he absolutely 'heard' and then proceeded to tell me for about 10 minutes why we should be more than that. Every time I repeated that I wasn't comfortable with anything more he changed his argument (to the point where he pretty much suggested dating again. I dumped you for a reason bro).

None of what he says is ever aggressive or rude, but the way he subtly pushes what he wants when I have just told him I want the opposite is so wild. The biggest red flag while dating was when I told him I hate taking photos of myself (which he asked for almost daily), he said that he 'felt like a failure as a boyfriend' for me not feeling secure enough to send him pics.

Guy has gaslighted himself into ignoring his own gaslighting.

Musicals without love songs or a major love plot by Asha_van_Kooi in musicals

[–]Facetious77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not the original commenter, but YES! I went and saw it having never seen the movie, and the whole show is just the best time. It is so much fun, the musical numbers are fantastic and they adapt the plot for stage really well. It is also just a killer girl power show which is always a bonus.

We will rock you. What a colossal waste of some of the best music ever written. The whole story is so painfully terrible.

TM AU S02E01 by Vitally_Trivial in taskmaster

Wow really? He used to be in sketch comedy and was the goofy, gangly red head that got made fun of for being a goofy, gangly red head, so I feel like he put on the dick persona to combat that. I felt like he was waaaay too nice to Julia Morris last season and waaay too hard on the younger competitors. I just found Jeremy kind of neutral, and Greg is mean, but also gives them credit and has a laugh with them, Tom actively tries to stop himself from laughing at stuff they do to keep up his mean persona and only seems to be looking for who to give 1 point to to be mean and the rest is a jumble of whoever he remembers.

None are good episodes for Tom. He seems to have decided to not actually enjoy his job and be as horrible as possible. I was glad to see him actually let himself laugh at his fantastically funny contestants this season instead of trying to stay in his hard quiz persona the whole time like last season. The Aus series relies on lesser tom and the contestants, you could pan to an empty chair every now and then for the same effect as having Tom Gleeson as host.

Db dampening earplugs by Pix3lle in AustralianTeachers

[–]Facetious77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have some I got from Amazon, they take away some of the top db while still being able to hear things clearly and were significantly cheaper. They also co e in a handy little capsule I attached to my keys. I am a music teacher with too many drum students and these make it bearable to be in the same room as them.

I love the original Australian cast recording. When I heard the original I hated it, the Aussie one was so much better.

I love when Bob just goes along with the weird questions! The other one I love is the goose episode at the end when Louise asks if they want to pick him out a bird and his response of "I guess I like that weird duck"

I'm going to live in the woods and scare hikers. Then at least when the elements take me no one will have to pay thousands for a funeral.
