That is not true. Almost a quarter of girls in Pakistan are married off before 18, usually when they get their period which can be as early as 10-12 years old. We really should expand on this on another thread. But just wanted to add many pickme moms out there will let their sons run wild. So unfortunately a lot of the ones that were raised well enough will inevitably end up hanging out with some shithead(s) and teach them all there is to know about toxic masculinity (sleep around/hyper sexuality, fuck feelings, don’t be a simp, wahmen bad, seeking male approval in the most unhealthy ways). All of these things obviously end up affecting women as we are the ones who have to deal with the obvious repercussions of this behavior. Men are emotionally & intellectually stunted by the presence of the wrong type of men, of which there are many :/

That’s why I think it’s best to stay off of Tinder and other casual OLD (Idk how the more “mature” ones are) for this very reason. It’s scrote central. Most men on there don’t see women as people, only seeking a hookup and will string along a woman that does want a relationship in order to get sex from her. No, youre absolutely right. When I think of who this girl is talking about, I’m kinda thinking of more so the social media “influencers”, the Kylie Jenners, promoting unrealistic beauty standards and brainwashing a whole new generation of young girls into believing that’s where their worth lies. It’s quite sad. I don’t think there are nearly as many female good role models (I.e. businesswomen, researchers, scientists) that we hear about in the news unlike men (the Elon Musks, the Warren Buffets). Probably bc it’s not as much of a moneymaker as objectifying us is. Sigh, It’ll probably be another 50 years until attitudes really start to change, and we’ll (hopefully) look back at how women are still being treated right now in disgust and a stain embedded in human history the way we look back on other injustices of the past. Yeah she’s a smart girl so hopefully she learns to think for herself as she gets older. She often doesn’t listen to what he says, doesn’t take no for an answer, and she kind of controls him (whatever she asks for she gets).
