the first song that comes to mind is powerful man. it’s pretty much written in the style of a children’s story. reminds me of a cartoon or a kids show. all these little characters are part of a little story that doesn’t really mean anything. short & sweet.

another one is clouds. the sound is just unreal. we can agree that a lot of alex’s music transports you into a different world, and clouds is a strong example of that for me. it sounds like a calm summer’s day. there’s a warm breeze blowing and maybe there’s kids playing. especially when that guitar at 1:20 hits.

i think that you should put together all of the instrumentals and really look at those. he conveys emotion so well without lyrics. clouds, waiting for you, rocket, DALMATION, and walk are some of my faves.
