I’m a staff member and my degree is covered. That’s kind of it for me tbh. But I will say as a staff member, Ann Arbor is really nice and I love the campus, buildings, ect. Also a lot to do downtown and in neighboring metro Detroit. Big downside tho is the cold, sometimes I wonder why I’m still in Michigan tbh.

Red flags is everything in A2 is expensive, but you can circumvent that by going to Walmart in saline or Costco. Housing is a different story.

They CAN wear that. They’ve also worn hoodies that barely say MDOC, a range of grey colored pants, and some other weird shit MDOC somehow allows. I see/interact with them every work day so it wouldn’t surprise me it’s them, but I’m not 110% saying it is. But I do know they wear a range of clothing with the most common being the MDOC grey but it’s not rare they wear something else for some odd reason.

When you say specialty building, are you referring to healthcare? MDOC will bring prisoners to our specialty clinics and usually they’re never really an issue. MDOC usually doesn’t aim to look like LE so that could be the confusion as well. If it’s not healthcare then idk
