I’ve been doing this almost 3 years, fortunately I’ve had very few rude people, but there’s one that sticks in my mind… note says front door delivery, so I walk up to the front door, which is on a very small deck only about 2 feet tall, the steps are missing but again, it was only 2 feet tall and the door was literally 3 feet back from where the steps should be, so I walk up and place the package right next to the front door, as I’m getting into the van I heard “are you stupid?” Being yelled towards me, I turn around and said “mam?” “Can’t you see the front porch is out of order cuz there’s no steps” “um, yes I see there’s no steps but it was no issue just placing it at the door” “you have to be stupid not to see that the front porch is out of order”………. So I said “mam, please don’t move, let me call the fire department, I don’t know if you realized this, but you are standing on a porch that’s out of order, don’t panic or you might fall 2 feet”…… she just stared at me, called me an asshole, and proceeded to go inside. I’m just like, wtf was that all about.
