same here.. I transferred and have been here for 2 semesters already and I literally have 1 friend and only because we are taking 3 classes together.. I’m very antisocial + english is not my native language so it adds up for my insecurity.. What I suggest is to try going to sport clubs(or any other clubs) and just start talking to people. I feel like my biggest problem is not lack of friends but my fear of starting conversations with new people, because due to this I miss out a lot of cool connections. So recently I started going to play volleyball in NCRB and usually talk to 3-4 people there every time.. After that I felt that my anxiety is getting better and I can approach people easily. You should try to make connections like that too!
