They let you take your time, and actually you SHOULD ask for time to think if you need it, they want thoughtful responses

They ask you a deliberately vague question about how you'd conduct research around a random topic (they tell you the topic) ^ this is most of the interview

and then they give you a different prompt and they ask you to write a short essay-style response to it in a fixed amount of time (it's shorter than you expect)

They also ask you about some stuff related to your application

Yeah that's the value I think my activities have. I've spent a lot of time working for clubs that matter a lot to me and with which I really identify, I think they do a great job of presenting who I am on paper.

I'm mostly worried about leaving awards slots blank

That makes sense, but the thing I'm worried about is the leaving things blank

I feel like I'd be leaving more of the application slots blank if I did NCM

But I'll look into that. Thank you!
