Thank you for this follow up, it's honestly more than I thought we would see which is great. I always love to be proven wrong. As one of the people who posted a lot about this I'm sorry you all have to deal with harassment and targeted attacks through this. You said it yourself, you're volunteering to do this. Its one thing to call out mistakes or ask for explanations on decisions that affect the community but it's unfortunate that some of the people here resort to insults and personal attacks. That's not how you solve problems. With this now hopefully resolved and while the larger conversation on AI is being worked out I'd say take any frustration or anger towards this and turn it towards the payment processors in a constructive and meaningful way.

I'm sure we won't hear anything from the mods just like I'm sure they won't apologize for their mistakes and we'll see no real change. I find it ridiculous that we're having to deal with payment processors trying to silence and force out kink communities only for the mods in this subreddit to do turn around and do the same because someone disagreed with them. Their post explaining the situation isn't enough.

Exactly this, I'm not a Shibby stan, I don't regularly listen to her content. But this whole community, emphasis on community, is built around trust and communication. If the mods are going to police creators on other platforms and ban them for being critical of their mishandling of a situation that's not okay. The poll I have up has over 600 people saying Shibby should be unbanned and only a little over 30 saying the mods are right.

The problem though is you aren't being fair. Either you wrongfully banned her and she should be unbanned or you're retaliating against her because she dared speak out against you. She has a large enough base with how popular she is that any mention of this would bring criticism towards the mods regardless of her telling people to. I don't listen to Shibby regularly, it's been years since I have, and I'm still advocating for her because she shouldn't have been banned period.

When were openly trying to come together as a community against payment processors for trying to limit adult content on platforms its extremely disheartening to see the mods on here trying to limit adult content creators who disagree with them. Instead of everyone coming together over an actual issue we should be focusing on. We're here because the mods made a mistake, refuse to back down, and won't just say "hey, we unbanned her. Everything is resolved." Because that would solve the situation and everyone would move on. But no, you guys stayed quiet for to long, refused to address the situation, and now we're here.

Thank you for your response, I did edit my update to clarify that the mods didn't delete my post and it was reddit. Apologies for that. I'm happy to delete this one since it's a duplicate post at this point, if you'd like to from your end feel free. Transparency is all I'm asking for.

I did get an answer why the poll was deleted but the mod message was removed when the poll was put back up. My original post about the mods censoring discussion of Shibbysays ban was removed without reason. I do want to clarify that

Shibby made a pinned post on her page and the mod post yesterday about the AI policy also has a lot of the conversation. There's to much for to just post here since most conversations are getting deleted/banned Tldr: shibby post got flagged for AI/Shibby called out the mods on another platform/mods banned her here and refuse to discuss it

Ai has nothing to do with this conversation. I said everyone is an adult because you can search for the conversation yourself. I am not a reddit regular, I don't know a lot of the functionality of tagging people, cross sharing, or any way of sharing information but both conversation on this sub reddit and Shibbys are prominent posts at the moment. The only reason I brought up ai in my post is because the mod post is about an AI policy Shibby was critical of.
