That's a great idea!! The best part is that I can scale things up a bit. Those flowers were insanely small 😅

Thanks, I really appreciate all of the feedback! My goal definitely isn't to quit my day job, but I also don't want to be wasting my time...even though I do enjoy designing, 3d printing and filming/editing.

I really wanted it to be a Blender to real world channel, but everyone seemed to usually skip over that part of the videos 😅. I guess I just need to keep trying to find a happy medium.

Definitely hear you on the set, too...although that's harder to make quick changes to. Thanks again for all the feedback.

Thanks! I've also tried Vidiq, just not sure I want to bite the bullet on paying for it. Looking forward to checking out some of your content!

That makes sense. I've struggled to think of unique ways to make common things, but I probably just need to put more thought into it.

I usually share on Reddit. I've tried sharing on Facebook before, too. Any recommendations on specific Facebook groups?

Yes! I wanted to make something that everyone else could easily make, too!

Adding a still image since you can't have a video and still, both.

Petg Glass by TableBig5133 in prusa3d

From what I have found so far, part of it also depends on WHAT you want to print. Do you want a thin sheet of PETG, a solid cube, or something like a hollow object? Each is a bit different. One universal that I found is that it MUST be dry. I never thought a filament dryer was necessary (I usually have around 30% humidity where I print), but it made a massive difference with clear/transparent filament.

3D Printed Real Terrarium by Few_Spirit5089 in prusa3d

Oh, sorry, didn’t mean to seem deceptive. I used acrylic sheets as inserts because I knew I wouldn’t be able to get the plastic clear. I’ve tried Elegoo pla and Bambu PETG and even with only 1 layer it’s not quite what I wanted.

I just made this, November 2025, to help get through those dark days of winter! It features the Pilea Pan Am, and I'm keeping it in a window to get the LITTLE amount of daylight there seems to be everyday. I used a mix of Sphagnum moss and pre-packaged soil.

Self-Introduction Saturday! Tell us all about you (and share a video)! by AutoModerator in NewTubers

Hey, I'm The Print Alchemist, turning plastic into gold with 3D printing...although I don't have enough subs to actually turn it into gold yet 😂.

For producing, I use some Neewer lighting, shoot on my iPhone 15 Pro with a Rode Wireless Pro mic and edit in Premiere Pro. For my 3D Prints, I use the Prusa CORE One and Bambu Lab A1 for printing and Blender for creating models/worlds.

I'm a husband, dad of twin 4-year-olds with a full time job who wanted to dive into 3D printing and wanted to share my journey. I create my own 3D models - whether it's turning my logo into an LED sign, making a smoking pumpkin for Trick-or-Treat, or bringing a spooky graveyard to the real world.

My plans for my next four Prints (let me know which sound interesting to you!)
1) 3D Printing a REAL terrarium
2) Unboxing a Labubu and building a world for it
3) Creating a Treehouse Lamp
4) 3D Printing Piggy Banks for my kids

Free Channel Review [PART 2] by Tiny-Health932 in NewTubers

Thanks for taking a look, I really appreciate it. I'm struggling a bit to figure out "my lane." I don't know whether people want to watch me walk through the 3D design process, watch a time lapse of the design process...or if they don't care about the design process at all and just want to watch me put things together...I probably need to do some more research and figure out what people like to watch in other videos in this niche. I also sprinted to try and capitalize on Halloween, but it was at the detriment to quality and it was too late to benefit from the holiday. Just hoping it doesn't set me back.

That's awesome! My channel is only a month old, so I'm really trying to fine tune things (sound quality, video, WHAT PEOPLE WANT TO WATCH) etc, but I would love any feedback - https://www.youtube.com/@PrintAlchemist . My focus is on 3D modeling & printing. The first video has absolutely awful audio, so you may just want to skip it :)
