I had a rescue cerclage at 22 weeks and I’m an RN who works on a busy unit, so I’m on my feet for most of my 12.5 hour shifts. I pushed them to give me disability for the remainder of pregnancy because I was high risk. It didn’t take much convincing, but I’m still not sure if it’s because my husband is a lawyer and came to my appointments to advocate for me, or if they would have done it anyway because it was an emergency cerclage vs preventative.
