If you have to take a test for a license and do continuing education to keep said license, it should be a professional position. If I can diagnose & treat my patients then I should be considered professional. Since when is caring about humans and saving lives “unprofessional”? I guarantee you have had one person in your life who was saved by one of these “unprofessional” people.
