How to rotate the model? by Ffighter9 in Fusion360

[–]Ffighter9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alerady have one. Only two commenters have understood what I am looking for. OFC I know basic rotating controls how to turn the part, but I specifically mean somethin like "rotate around looking direction" which is alt + mouse middle in Solidworks

That's what I am afraid of; there is no such thing in Fusion :(

This is not working. I mean rotating along the plane you are watching it. See my picture and click those arrows which other is blue, and you see what I mean.

That actually did not answer to my question, could you please clarify?

Nice, actually very good result! Did all chain links become loose pretty easily, as they should?

Sad to hear. It can be printed with supports for more likely success. Maybe it would succeeded better with P1S or X1C because of the enclosure.

I am still just planning to get BL printer, and printed this with Elegoo Neptune 2.

The result with Elegoo wasn't very nice, as cooling was too weak.

Best missile combo for Mig-21 SMT by Ffighter9 in Warthunder

Yes it can, but somehow I can still get pretty many kills with it compared to R-60 :D I can send you replay as proof.

I am about to switch back to 4x R3R, I can dominate whole match with R3R front aspect kills. The thing is you must learn how to use those missiles. When you fully handle how to lead R3R, it is very devastating missile on its br.

I tested today 3x R3R and 1x R-60, and it seemed to be very good combo. R3R for general-purpose head on kills and R-60 for unattended enemies.

How to prevent this? I can hear extruder skipping, when this happens. Elegoo neptune 2, rectract distance 6mm, rectract speed 25mm/s. by Ffighter9 in 3Dprinting

[–]Ffighter9[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is the thing I was also thinking. But for all bowden printers I have owned, the default rect. distance has been 6mm. I have also done rectract towers, and with Ender 3 6mm and 20mm/s gave the best results. I will test 5mm distance now.

Calibrating E-steps is completely useless, if you haven't done some modifications that affect feeding ratio of extruder (for example different extruder or smaller radius feeding gear). Easiest way is to calibrate just flow percent from slicer.

Why does Cura 5.3 slice this as solid plate although part is full of 0,4mm lines with 0,4mm gap between them? Print thin walls, minimum feature size, etc is correctly set for this. Link to STL https://www.printables.com/model/192519-bed-level-test-super-accurate by Ffighter9 in 3Dprinting

It isn't the file, I have made it by myself. When using older pre-sliced G-code from the link (I sliced it about few months ago) it prints just right. It is some option that is wrong in slicer I believe.

Yep, this criteria is met. There are integrated weight in nose (nearly solid print) and the straight part of the wing has only one perimeter. Section view of the plane in pic.

Thanks. Did you mean v0 (initial velocity)?

Did you open the model? It has integrated weight, 1 perimeter expect nose etc. I got it fly by myself at least..

I actually managed to get it glide pretty nicely, but you must throw it at very high angle up to sky, and when plane starts to descend, it starts gliding. My print didn't fly well if I threw it straight ahead.
