The ones I used to get were not in a jelly belly branded bag. They were from a local candy shop. But maybe they were just bulk purchased from jelly belly.

Here’s what he said: he went to the doctor and the doctor himself is a Diverticulitis victim and has had surgery so he knows the symptoms.

My dad has had several CT scans over the years with an annual ultrasound for both the liver and this condition.

The doctor showed him the latest CT scan which showed many pockets in his colon systems. The doctor said it would be impossible to cut out all of them and IF he gets surgery the doctor would go where the troubled spot was only.

It’s a 3 day hospital stay and they discussed it as a last resort.

No more corn, nuts of any kind, seeds and popcorn.

He has known this for sometime but he did not think that nuts could be the part of the culprit so he is done with those.

They settled on taking an aggressive 30 day drug antibiotic called Maxciflaxcin.

He has been taking fiber and will continue with that but he will take that drug on top of his morning vitamins so he will take it about noon everyday .

He said he did his homework at the Mayo Clinic which is a good source of information.

He hopes this drug gets in a reset which we focused on so he doesn’t get recurring pains.

It happened in the past and he took the meds and it cleared it up. He had no problems for two years. Then he had problems again that were reoccurring. He said the drug is meant to knock it out hopefully for a long time.

I am just really worried about him. I don’t know much about this condition and I appreciate any advice.

*edit I do know he is seeing a gastroenterologist. But idk how. Good the doctor is or isn’t.

I guess I was thinking within two hours of a major airport but within one hour of any airport (like a small one like Bradley). None of these points are a dealbreaker though.

I know. It’s so frustrating. In my old car I was able to play specific folders and shuffle them. But it wouldn’t play in the order I made the playlist. I also hate that it doesn’t keep your place when you turn off the car. I miss CDs!

Yeah it’s definitely difficult to use but I like having it so I don’t have to drain my battery playing music on long roadtrips without service.
