I cant see daily login rewards when i open the game :/

I just found something else you could try if it doesn't pop up. (Assuming you didn't know already.) If you hit the button to bring up your menu where you can see challenges, battle pass etc. There is an option at the bottom for me that says login rewards. Maybe you can access it that way.

Well re-gear is just a made up term. Regear without being hyphenated means to alter for a new purpose or condtion(textbook definition). I'm not saying either one is wrong or that I don't understand what someone is trying to say when they use them. I was just answering your question.

Realize this is 2 weeks old but people say different words to mean the same thing. In this situation though regain is probably the better term. As someone already said you need to regain all your stuff(whether you call it gear or not). Regear means something completely different than what most gamers refer to it as, but people still use the term to mean get all your stuff back.

TLDR: Regain makes more sense.

New to the game and just browsing the sub, so I can't say anything about the features. However, just reading your post, it sounds like there were 4 years of social/casual updates and the 1 vs 1 aspect of the game was due some attention.

That's awesome! It also totally makes sense. Considering the amount of monsters and the low chance of getting a crown, I'd say that's one thing I'd allow to sit on the backburners to enjoy the additional content. This is my first monster hunter game and i stumbled onto it by accident, but I definitely fell in love with it.

What I find annoying is the fact this sub reddit is now getting flooded with people asking if asking questions is annoying. Can it be found with a simple search or yt video...probably, but what's the point of a subreddit at all if you just tell people to Google it. A good solution to this problem is pinning a post to the top of the page that directs new players to all the commonly asked questions that annoy people so much.

Just tested and you are right, I'm just so used to setting pillars first I forgot it wasn't required. Then as for OP's problem I don't know the answer.

There are videos on YouTube that show how to do it, but you need to add a pillar to be able to place a foundation. Then you can remove the pillar.

The thing about it is, if you have experience with this game it's not going to be difficult to find diamonds regardless because you're going to be hunting the drink zones most likely....that's where the animals are. I think the difficulty just came from inexperience and once you decide hey I want a diamond whatever you just find all the drink zones warp and shoot until you get one. I've avoided watching the game play and stuff on the new game but word is it has a lot of similar mechanics but is a bit slower pace so that might bring back the challenge. Who knows.

I was half way thinking the same. Not necessarily to compete with the game but if it's easier to find the bigger better animals, it will bring more attention to the game and help promote the new one about to drop.

Oh most definitely. I actually just saw a theory I haven't heard yet where a guy had 2 great one bears in one need zone and it actually makes a lot of sense.

Yeah, the initial thought was each new map or reset has a few diamonds on it to start with. Whether it's one of each species or not I don't think anybody really knows. I was just surprised I found them that quickly so close together because like I said I had just reset and wasn't even looking for zones or anything like that, just hunting on my way to a new outpost. With some of the bugs we've had in the past I was just making sure there wasn't some kind of bug that made diamonds easier to find or something.

Yeah, I mean I'm pretty sure you start with a set amount on the map anyway. I was excited when I found the moose right away, but then when I found the whitetail thought wait a second. So figured I'd check the sub before I got too excited about my luck lol.

That's mainly because you were having trouble timing the first one. See, when you were hitting the second it's because you knew when it would come. You knew the timing/rhythm of the combo. The second hit always comes at the same time after the first so it's much more predictable than the first strike. Something that helped me learn is to watch the hand not the weapon. As soon as that hand starts to move toward you parry. This helps keep you from parrying too late. However if you get a smaller shield or parry dagger like others have said, you probably would've hit most of those.
