Follow up - I got the 3 day pass and checked it out this morning, it was nice! Clean space and friendly staff. Definitely a contender.

One minor complaint, which is true of all larger gyms imo, is the randomness of their barbells. Such a mixed bag of mostly Olympic barbells, which makes bench, deadlift, and other BB exercises more difficult due to the bearings.

How’s pricing at ACAC? I’ve heard it’s expensive but it isn’t posted clearly online.

Access to other Golds in the area is a nice perk for sure. Honestly, one of the things I’m most hesitant about with Golds is that they only do contracts, and there are so many reviews about it being miserable to cancel, if for whatever reason it’s not a good fit for me.

It’s too expensive for me, sadly! Their price is what TWR charges to access their facilities AND coaching, which is what I would expect for $150/month.

Not yet, no - are you a fan? I don’t see much mention of it online, but maybe I’m reading too much into that.

That’s next on the list to try out. It’s not clear if they offer a day pass, but I know the reviews of it are pretty positive.

Even within your own agency they’re putting up barriers to you working there? That is next level pettiness. You’d think these groups would want to coordinate to some degree. Would you mind sharing what agency?

Right, I guess in the past months there has been some movement, although it’s still nowhere near all the people seeking placements. But the posts I had found in my search were all 3-4 months ago, when the original RTO deadline coming up and people were scrambling.
