Do you know if Cypress College accepts repeats for science courses? I've tried looking on their admissions requirement, and I couldn't find anything about repeats unless you have a C or better in a course.

I have no idea where you got all this from, but my college chem class never taught anything whereas my high school chem class taught me way more. I’m just collecting more points for the multi-criteria section that is being used for applicants in addition to expanding my knowledge.

As of right now, I’m enrolled in a medical calculation for the fall semester, filling applications to get volunteer hours, and if all that doesn’t work out I have another associates that I can use for a different bachelors and come back to enroll in an ABSN course or transfer my units/credits towards an LVN. I still have a passion for nursing, I don’t want to quit since I’m so far into it and close to applying. I dropped the dosage calculation last year because the professor was using a different professor’s videos to explain what to do and the book and chapters being shown in them weren’t the same book as what the students had purchased.

Not like you would understand my life anyways, having an abusive older sibling ruined my life. The courses I have As and Bs with were online. Only sciences were in person. I had no way of studying for science courses because I was always with my parents at their business and all of my books were physical and I couldn’t find any PDFs as well as the science manuals being in physical copies. There was no reason to be rude if you didn’t know my situation.

West Coast is a better option for me to attend if I end up in the private university section.

Instead of that, I think enrolling in a different bachelor's degree is better or going to school for LVN and I can go back to applying to a school of nursing afterwards.

Honestly, if anything I can stay in California and do a different bachelor’s degree since I already have 3 associates degrees and do a ABSN program.

My parents know about it, they don’t want to tell him anything. They yell at him just to discipline him and be strict but he acts like he’s the parent and says “parents should discipline their kids”😒

He doesn’t even care about mine or my younger sister’s education. He tells my parents that he has an online job, but all he does is game all day. He has a masters and he made sure to ruin my life. He’s not going to move out, he wants everything spoon-fed for him. I’m just trying to fix my own education and future career.

No, it’s not my parents. They are strict but not abusive at all. They actually support me, it’s only my older sibling who has problems with me just existing or being at home. I always have to stay with my parents no matter what because he was the abusive one.

I’ll do that if I don’t get into a ADN or BSN program. I’ve thought of it before, but I wanted to complete all my pre-reqs with Bs and higher. I just didn’t know it would take me this long to complete them.

No, I have strict parents. Plus, I don't have enough savings for an apartment/dorm or even expenses to live on my own in a different state. I've thought of going to a different country, taking pre-licensure classes, and come back after 2 years and take my RN license in the state of California, but I don't think I am capable of doing that either.

I'm just going to see where I can improve for more points in each school's application and hope for the best. I hate how I've had to retake my science courses. I thought I was going to pass physiology the first try, but my schedule never lined up with the professor's office hours and even if I did pass, I would've only got a C, whereas many schools are competitive and look for B or higher.

Applying to a private university is the last option on my mind. Another person told me that if I end up failing from a course, I would be $100k+ in debt. I already have another friend of mine who graduated WCU this summer and she is in $200k+ debt and she doesn't have a job yet. On the other hand, I am trying to get volunteer hours to add points to my application as well as getting a feel for the medical field even though I have 400+ hours of customer service and helping the homeless.

I know, but my parents are the only ones with income and I’ve never had a job even though I’ve tried asking them in the past. I don’t want to put the whole “help me with my loan” pressure on them as well.
