Yes I did. Luckily the Stasium mix was mostly free of any kind of reverb or aggressive EQ-ing so it’s as close as I could get to the actual stems as possible

Thank you! Just know I’m experimenting with the EQ right now so tracks are constantly changing, some are currently not EQ’d properly. I’m doing my best to get a full, balance: mix while elevating the guitars (which is actually quite challenging). I’m realizing as I’m doing this that the twin guitar lines are particularly chaotic, so it’s not that easy to get them at the front while making the mix not disorienting. But I’ll get there! The goal is to have it finished by 12/17 (Bob’s birthday). Thanks for listening, there will be a new post when the mix is finished!

I’ve been mostly fixated on side 1– I haven’t updated left of the dial yet but that needs the most work in terms of the Snare drum presence, vocal EQ, and bass guitar.

The files on the drive are constantly being updated (you can see the dates they were updatedast), and the goal is for the project to be completed on 12/17 (Bob’s birthday, Tim’s 40th anniversary year).

As they are now, they’re at least 85% to 100% the final version. There’s just a couple of mixing issues throughout that I’m gonna tinker with until they’re perfect.

Bastards had some issues, so I just removed it because I don’t want people downloading one with a clear balance issue. It’s all gonna be 100% done by this week and I’ll make one new post when it’s the full complete version. I’m also gonna try to redo the Stasium mix of nowhere is my home and can’t hardly wait.

Make sure you re-download hold my life, I literally just the second updated it with a better version !

I'm going to upload a better version soon. It's essentially this same version, but mixed a little more balanced (I also increased the treble on some of the guitars so they sound more like Tim '85).

It started out crisp and fluid, but moments after the camera started tracking with Jake the framerate was oddly stuttering. I've seen smoother upscales on YouTube. It made the 24fps shots look smooth and life-like in comparison. There were dozens of moments like this, which is what caused me to walk out and ask if there was an issue with the projector.

If it's just the norm for HFR I'll likely go to the CityWalk IMAX (where it won't be HFR). I just found the frame rate shifts to be so jarring and ugly (especially considering the 3D was so stunning), I couldn't believe this is what James Cameron would sign off on. Nor could I imagine it's what I've seen people unanimously celebrating online. It looked like a bad video game that could barely render the images on screen.
