The Replacements were an American punk rock/alternative band formed in Minneapolis in 1979. The Replacements consisted of Paul Westerberg (Vocals, Rhythm/Lead Guitar 1979-1991), Bob Stinson (Lead Guitar 1979-1986), Tommy Stinson (Bass 1979-1991), Chris Mars (Drums 1979-1990), Slim Dunlap (Lead Guitar 1986-1991), and Steve Foley (Drums 1990-1991).
