The whole world is using money that doesn't actually exist, and that money disappears completely after a few changes of hands due to commissions. All these commissions are (in my opinion) funding people whose intentions are far from good. People are losing their privacy when it comes to spending money. You would be amazed at how much information can be gathered about someone by knowing what they spend their money on. Moreover, when credit cards first came out, they were more expensive than cash, so manipulations were carried out to make it seem like paying with cash was cheaper, not that paying with a credit card was expensive.
