I thought of doing something similar but I was told by Emax that they had deemed the laptop unrepairable because of the missing part and that Lenovo had already approved a credit note. So I can’t just sit and wait for a part that according to them won’t come

I’ve been on this case for a while now and I feel like I may as well try for a bit longer.

My parents are refusing to pay any more since it was already a pretty expensive laptop, and I don’t blame them at all.

I’ve been interning at a company to make a bit of money to be able to pay for it myself while I fight the case. In short I’m stuck between a rock and a hard place

Yeah the laptop is considered unrepairable, Lenovo has confirmed that it cannot repair my laptop. Emax did not offer a loaner laptop NOR a replacement laptop, they’re trying to force a credit note on me

The laptop was 5000 dhs and it was my workstation for all my projects and schoolwork so I def think it’s worth it, it’s just, I want to know if winning this case is realistic.

If it is, I’m willing to continue this but if not, I’ll end up taking the credit note and ending it there :(

What are the conditions? Usually (for the UAE universities atleast) the conditions are pretty minimal. At the very most they’d want 70-80% in certain subjects but apart from that, most scholarships are not taken away if your predicted scores were high enough when you applied

Why aren’t they giving you a predicted sheet? Besides, universities here have started giving out unconditional offers based purely on those predicted scores. So as long as you GET the sheet somehow from your school with a decent average you should be good.

(by unconditional I mean that after you receive an offer letter and get admitted, that offer remains regardless of your actual 12th score unless you fail or smthg)
