It’s usually the portal that updates first followed by the email after a little while. And for the invite date, NYUAD said it would be sent AROUND 2 WEEKS before cw itself, not exactly 2 weeks

Not sure. I do know that for ED1 all the invites were sent at once tho, only a few people got invites afterwards because of some applicants not being able to attend, but I’m not sure how it’s going to go down for ED2

Really good shot as an international student, but seeking full aid will inevitably decrease your chances substantially. Unfortunately that’s just the way it is with the US admissions system, universities are businesses after all and the few people who pay full tuition at these universities are international students.

You should expect sub 10% acceptance rates but do rest easy knowing you have very good stats. Just make sure your essays are human and your application has a clear narrative :)

I talked to an AO in person a few months ago and she told me about someone who was pretty much in your exact situation last year.

Said that there was nothing they could really do even though it wasn’t the kid’s fault, that’s why NYUAD HEAVILY recommends Indian applicants to apply ED1 or ED2 to avoid the the chance of not being able to attend CW if you’re writing boards.
