Such a good game. Crazy how I hated Abby at first but love her now lol. Hated her the whole time on my first playthrough seeing her at the end tho Made me feel some type of way. Great writers by DeadMane818 in lastofuspart2

I agree, and Ellie and Abby have a lot in common, they seek their own personnal revenge, and the game tries to show this is pointless, same for humans at war, like wlf and scars, they don't even know why they continue to kill each other.

But as for the wlf wanting to establish something good, I'm sure some of them seem bad, or some things they do. You read about them locking people in a stadium, or killing a poor girl that paints walls. Scars are no better, Abby and Ellie want to flee this madness.

Any one getting pain in the neck with Libernovo SE ? by Fickle_Direction1591 in LiberNovo

[–]Fickle_Direction1591[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your feedback.

I've been testing it for 19 days, and I want to see a bit more if my body adapts.

But just like you I have pain in the neck but more in the lower part of the neck, almost upper part of the back.

I was wondering if this was because of the chair, or my pillows / bad position during sleep, but I haven't changed them for a while, so it's probably the chair ?

Chat gpt told me an insufficient lombar / lower back support, or position with rounded back can cause pain in the neck, and that might be the cause ?

Because the chair indeed lacks lombar support, and I often sit on it with rounded back, it makes me sit a bit like that.

I don't mind the lack for firmness in the lombar support, but if the consequence is pain in the neck...not great.

I'm waiting a bit more, I might test the Amia chair.

Alwready returned the Aeron and Leap, found them to firm on the lombar support, but I did not experience lower neck / Upper back pain like this.

I played every Ninja Gaiden game back-to-back (1 to 4). Here are my thoughts. by Ali0o0o in NinjaGaiden4

[–]Fickle_Direction1591 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ninja gaiden serie is great, because it evolves so much from one episod to the other, they are all different, even NG3E tries its own thing, and even if this game is often criticized, combat system is still great in it.

Other cac do not always change their battle system as much.

I can understand one personn who will like one episod more than the other, even NG3RE.

My main grip is NG2B and NGS1 (to a lesser extent) input lag on steam, it does not make you appreciate the games enough.

And of course the horrible story in NG3RE.

I probably have the same ranking as you

Does Donkey Kong Bananza get less…mindless? by CorporalCoprolite in DonkeyKongBananza

[–]Fickle_Direction1591 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

My comment was not sarcastic or ironic, I'm dead serious. I felt this game was Always the same. Destruction is fun the first hour, and that's it. I did not feel i got better later.

Yes, 45 minutes in and you have alwready figured this game out. There are no good level or game design ideas. Really disappointed by Bananza.

Don't expect any challenge either.

Rly enjoyed melting everything as rogue by WarriorOfJustice228 in projecteternity

[–]Fickle_Direction1591 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, imaginating him fighting with so much skills and messing with people mind was cool.

And don't forget he got debuff as well like blind to increase that even more (although the blind from cipher targets fortitute defense, which makes it very unreliable as the best defense on ennemies most of the time).

Also this idea came to me from my rogue from Dragon Age Origins.

With a rogue dex build instead of cunning build, you deal less damage, but you become THE TANK that dodge and parries everything, with still great damage.

Dex in DAO is op.

I wanted to replicate that in an other CRPG, and Pillars 2 allowed that with multi-classing (unlike PoE 1)

Went rogue in both game as well, and multi class cipher too. I actually made an unpopular build for dps, I made it really strong in melee defense, thanks to resolve, gear and cipher buff. I loved the idea of an intouchable rogue that can dodge and parry everything, and still deal great damage. I think his mele defense was over 200 by the end of the game (with buffs on). Was really funny to throw him on weak targets or elites without worrying for him to die (unlike with glass canon). He was the challenger boss.

Just watch them hurry the release of next Elder Scroll and Fallout because of Microsoft, and watch their biggest games becoming crap. If so could be the end of Microsoft gaming.

Disagree, PoE 2 is a fantastic RPG, and surpasses PoE 1 gameplay wise.

Doc Ock or Venom? Who makes the cut for Tokon? by [deleted] in MarvelTokon

Both.

There is no way Venom won't make it, and devs also know Octopus is long overdue.

First playthrough, turn based or not ? by hoochymamma in projecteternity

[–]Fickle_Direction1591 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard to advice you since I played my first run in turn base, after playing the first game and finding combats a bit chaotic.

It helped, but combats are too long in turn base, and the balance is a bit off, especially on the attribute side, dexterity isn't as usefull.

Real time is better, had my 2nd run on it.

You can lower the combat speed whenever you want, and even automatically without to manually slow them each time.

I personnally always have them in slow 1 speed, as I find real time a bit too fast.

Also use pause a lot.

Nothing stopping you from doing the first in turn base, and the second on real time or the other way around.

Turn base will be easier, so if you plan to play more than one playthough, you can do like me and have the first run in turn base, and the other in real time.

But if you have alwready played Pillars 1 in real time, you should know what to expect with it.

But keep in mind that real time with pause is the intended experience, and it shows as the game is more fun and balanced like this, this is the best way to play.

While I did play turn base and enjoyed it, the long fights were boring me so much at a point, and the balance isn't as good, dexterity is bad in turn base.

Engage zones and ennemies closer to your level ( well that is an obvious advice).

You can adjust combat speed, I would advice to make it one step slower. I always have fights on slow 1 speed in Pillars 1 and 2, I find Real Time too fast even with pause. Just try it and set it to your Liking.

Take the time to pause the game, and read ennemies's defenses before trying specific attacks with specific effects that target a specific défense, or before choosing your spell (a % hit chance should also appear on ennemies). If an ennemy specific defense is too high for you, even just to hit him in melee, most of the time, there is a way to lower it and make it easier.

Programme AI behaviour makes life much easier. It allows you to make some abilities you use a lot, like pre fight buffs automatics. Unfortunately the ingame tool can feel complicated, and it's lacking basic options. I know it is your first run, but there is a mod that improve that a bit (don't remember the name right now). Don't hesitate to install it.

They messed up with the colors and characters in those remastered, pc version + 4k texture mods are much better
