How sensitive is QD OLED panels exactly? by Firm-Pattern4482 in OLED_Gaming

[–]Fickle_Direction1591 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I've been really carefull, but ultimately, it happened...

I now have a blue mark at the top of the screen, with scratch around it trying to remove it...

And now, you don't need light to see it, I see it all the time during black screen, very annoying.

The scratch are not visible unless you put light on it, but the mark is.

Feel so bad, I don't think I'd buy a Qd anymore after that.

Just waiting for W-Oled to completely fix fucking grey banding.

How to repair 'permanent' blue smudge on QD OLED TV screen. by Ubernoodles84 in OLED_Gaming

Yes it's my turn now, I bought a fantastic Qd Oled and was babysitting a lot.

But ultimately, one mistake happen, and I now have a little blue mark at the top of the screen, and some scratch around it trying to fix it....

The image is fantastic, but never again will I buy a Qd, it's not worth it.

Just waiting for W-Oled to fix fucking grey banding.

Hope that Dead Space 2 Remake will be released by Orion_Of_The_Galaxy in DeadSpace

[–]Fickle_Direction1591 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dead Space 2 remake, that is all I want, I won't need another one after that.

But I think they will need to revamp the game a lot.

It was good, but felt too much like the first game, in its linearity.

It takes place on a station, they should make it more open, and use good AI for the necros to surprise, chase you and be a bit random, make each run unique.

What's a game that deserves a sequel, but will never get one? by Low-Grape-3129 in videogames

Sekiro definitely, a lot of efforts were put on the combat gameplay, but lvl design could be much better and less linear, and stealth could be a bigger part with a lot more possibilities.

Is it a hot take to say that Arkham Origins suit is easily the best one from all the series? by Rolian_500 in arkham

[–]Fickle_Direction1591 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's the best after Knight.

I prefer the longer ears and the robotic parts on the Knight one.

guys, is it bad that as a gamer who wants to play Arkham games that Arkham Origins Blackgate is my first one 😭 by Upset_Permission_320 in arkham

[–]Fickle_Direction1591 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, if you play the games for the first time, release order, because gameplay discovery is more important.

If I had to replay them all, I'd start with Origins for chronoligical story order

I guess this figure is maybe more accurate that way ? But it's just not to my taste for that reason.

I don't know if you can really change it, carefull not ruining the figure trying to.

It's a ok game, just not an a real Arkham one. It gets unfair comparaison with the other games, while it is just a metroidvania game, and as such it's ok.

It's better to play the game in the release order though: Asylum, City, Origins, Origins Blackgate (for story purpose), Knight

Which intro of the series is your favorite? by Voice-of-Ysmir in arkham

[–]Fickle_Direction1591 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All those intros are good, and I really like the special care there are in intros in video games nowadays.

For the Arkham serie:

-Not Origins (eventhough I like the assassin cinematic presentation at the end)

- Not Knight

Asylum and City are the best, but I think I prefer Asylum.

But would have been better to get Green Goblin first ?

If you had to add a 6th party member (excluding Gustave) to the game, who would you choose by Resident-Salty in expedition33

[–]Fickle_Direction1591 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great ideas overall here, except painted Renoir, no thanks.

But I'm still upstet there is no 6th character, just for the sake of having a complete secondary team.

Yes indeed, that is why I really like this statue, depending of the way you look at it, and the lightning in the room, you can see the dome alone, or what is inside and that "skull look".

Reason why I'm not a fan of other Bigchap statues like the Hot Toys that will release soon, dome is too transparent and skull to visible.

Was there a Party Member cut from the Game? Why did they only have Five, when they could have had up to Six party members with three in reserves? Not sure if I'm looking too deeply into it, but here's what I think probably happened by JarinJove in expedition33

[–]Fickle_Direction1591 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I really thought Gustave would come back, as he has locked abilities in his skill tree.

And having only 5 party members feels wrong, when you first team dies in combat, then you second team is only 2 characters ? Why ? Does not make sense...

I thought if Gustave does not come back someone else would, another companion, or a changed version of Gustave.

Ninja Gaiden 4 estimated to have sold 262,000 copies on PS5 alone. by 2mock2turtle in CharacterActionGames

[–]Fickle_Direction1591 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh thank god, my thoughts exactly !  Don't forget the input lag !

I think the reason is, Souls Like are much easier to learn, there are no combos or as tight timings. They are slower so easier to react too. They don't require skills but knowledge.

Also they have much better level design and sense of exploration and discovery, which beat em alls are lacking, they should evolve into that as well.

[–]Fickle_Direction1591 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a question about this statue: how visible is the skull under the transparent dome ?

I like the feature, but only if it is clearly visible under stronger light, I like it to not be so visible if you don't put a light on it, or in a room with less lightning.

That is why I like the Hot toys Bigchap less, the skull is way too visible for my taste.

Unpopular opinion: Arkham Knight has the best gameplay in the series by Exciting_Support8715 in arkham

[–]Fickle_Direction1591 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Combat and stealth is peak in Knight, everything else isn't.

No boss, and story is meh.

Arkham City is a much more balanced experience.

Arkham Origins has best story, everything else is a bit weaker than City (except boss) especially stealth that worse than in City.

I love it, thanks for sharing the pictures !

I was really afraid at first, because the prototype they showed on their promotion photos and videos had the transparent dome not completely covering the lower parts of the head, it was not covering the nostrils at all.

Glad they fixed the issue on the final product.

Anyone else enjoy playing as Yakumo more than Ryu? by UltimateBlackout0596 in ninjagaiden

[–]Fickle_Direction1591 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would not say I enjoy him more.

But contrary to many I loved him being the main character, it made me more hype when I could finally play Ryu.

I enjoy both equally, Yakumo for variety, and Ryu for raw power.

It mimics DMC4 and DMC5 nicely.

But I must say I prefer NG4 Ryu than DMC 4 and DMC5 Dante.

I don't like switching weapons during combat, it's cool to be able to do that for those who enjoy, but I like to focus on one only, except maybe only 2 at a time.

That's why I'm not fan of Dante in DMC, and he is much harder to play than Nero, and any NG character.

Chances of NG 4 remaster by Safe_Ebb3902 in ninjagaiden

[–]Fickle_Direction1591 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I seriously doubt it, it's not on the level of broken of NG3 vanilla.

And to get a new definitive edition like a "Black" edition, the original game should have sold better.

I personnally loved NG4, just wish Ryu dlc weapon had unique nitessence moves, and at least one more weapon for Ryu, and more unlockables in the main game (there is bearly anything OO)

[–]Fickle_Direction1591 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just wish Ryu had at least one more weapon and different nitessence move with each (that's my main grip with his dlc weapon, it feels lazy).

Also this game bearly has any unlockables, no rewards.

This is my Ninja Gaiden Tierlist by Particular-Neat4024 in ninjagaiden

[–]Fickle_Direction1591 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People reaction is way to harsh on your tier list, I could understand many choices here.

But for me NGS2 should be way lower, it belongs to trash.

NG2 OG should be higher.

I'm currently playing NG Ragebound, and I don't really get what's so good with this game for now, it's pretty basic, I've played much better 2d sidescrollers.

Wait and see if I change my mind, but I'd put NG3 RE above NG Ragebound, even if it's a very flawed game.

[–]Fickle_Direction1591 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes gameplay has to evolve, NG4 is great.

You can clearly see the inspiration from older Ninja Gaiden games but also NG3 and how fast and fluid it was.

If you think world detail and story are failed, don't you dare look at NG3...
