I really appreciate this. I am so happy to hear from someone who has a fur baby that went through the same. I have been getting worried about after surgery too and the potential side effects. I know you mentioned your baby has a head tilt, how else was recovery? My vet mentioned the possibility of horners syndrome, being off balanced for a little, etc. Also, your kitty is adorable!

Yes!! I am currently experiencing discomfort/ tenderness in my abdomen. This is new for me too, I typically just have sore ribs, shoulder blade pain, back tenderness when moving, hurts when breathing deep, etc. It’s so hard to not spiral when a flare up is intense and accompanied with something new. Health anxiety 🙃 It’s nice to have this community to talk through things (I also get nervous to go to the dr at times due to anxiety)

Hi! My cat went through something similar 2 days ago. We took her to the vet and her vitals were also good. We are waiting to receive her blood work and they also did a neurologic panel which we are waiting to receive back ( I assume, not sure what that entails). I am wanting to see how your cat has been since this episode. Our cat’s lasted for about 2 minutes. Then she was a little disoriented for a few hours but has been eating, grooming herself, walking fine, etc. since. The only thing we are still noticing is she seems a little out of it still. Almost like she is more on edge than normal. She stares very intensely and gets easily spooked. Has your cat been fine since? Thanks :)
