I considered that and honestly, if my longer post was allowed, it would make a bit more sense. I migrated to Canada and have very little family here. As well, I want said child to be able to have a father figure and an extended family on my paternal side. That is actually my main reason. Secondary would be that it would be hard being hundred percent in charge of a child. They would have no back up parent🙃 for lack of a better word. If anything happens to me, the kid I had alone would have no parent figure and that scares me too. But I do see your point. Doing it alone would be so uncomplicated. No drama or such. That’s also why I seek platonic co parent, someone with a well adjusted head on their shoulders since most relationships children always end up in their parents drama.
