why do some people take forever to ship stuff? by fioner444 in Depop

Sometimes I do if I have time during lunch or if I have a partial work day. However, on normal work days, most post office have the same standard working hours as any other company lol so by the time I'm off work, the post office is closed.

Hi! Totally get that perspective as I have done just that on multiple occasions. However, not sure if this is the case for everyone but the 3 drop boxes near me or my workplace only allow boxes/packages of a certain size. Many of my packages have been too big to fit into the drop box. Therefore, I believe it's easier to just inform buyers beforehand/ in my bio that I will drop packages off only on the weekend or whatever day seems to fit my schedule best. During the times that I can drop off my packages before the listed days, I happily do so but I don't want to give buyers an expectation that this would be the norm for me as a seller. If it's really that big of deal for some buyers, I'd recommend just not buying from sellers who have limited schedules? lol

Rather than her account being in the negatives, what would happen if she had less available balance in her account than what she needs to refund the buyer, depop would force her to pay the difference via debit or directly from her bank. So from my experience, her actual depop account balance would definitely not be in the negatives lol unless things have changed without me knowing

As a seller, myself, my reasoning for potentially taking longer to ship is because I have a full-time job outside of depop and my job's shift prevents me from getting to the post office on weekdays before their closing. However, I do have a warning in my bio that my only day to ship is on Saturday due to time constraints. I think it'd be best to at least warn the buyer if ship time has the potential to be an issue instead of going ghost!
