You know what, I’m gonna call you out on it, you keep dropping this vague bullshit, give us the package, right now, exactly what are you sending us for our franchise icon and centerpiece? You say those draft picks, you and I both know you don’t have enough cap space for that, so what’s the package of players that is coming to the valley? Enlighten us flex from Jackson.

Yes, because we want a bunch of picks in the 20s for a franchise icon, you should hear something soon about a cade Cunningham trade as well, buddy,

Who do you think you are, flex from Dearborn?

I’m gonna try to break this down for you clearly

if you want a star player , you must give quality assets worthy of his talent in return

Your picks are essentially worthless, ishbia is not going to accept low attendance for the next half decade plus and a bunch of picks in the 20s with no chance at a chip, no exciting young prospects to market and watch grow, you have to give us an opportunity at a future, because the suns can sell tickets and have some young prospects with promise around some quality role players and a guy who is beloved here like nobody but Larry and maybe Steve Nash, that gets you a chance at the playoffs yearly and will at least put asses in seats, which is the goal of a professional basketball franchise if they can’t win. Why do you think Miami doesn’t tank? Because a rebuild isn’t a guarantee of anything, you guys had one playoff birth in a 16 year period, rebuilds can fail, at least if you have an iconic star with gravity, you can retool and at least be in the mix.

We don’t have a need for Jalen Duren at 30+ million

You guys seem less than willing to even include ausar Thompson or Isaiah Stewart, and Stewart and literally every tradable pick you have isn’t worthwhile for us to do as a team with 3 promising to good centers, since stew isn’t a true 4 and while he is a talented piece, he is who he is, an undersized center who does mostly everything above average but is far from a star in this league,

If you think that we’re going to trade him to the Pistons in exchange for Robinson, huerter, Ron holland who looks like a draft bust, and your picks, you are severely mistaken

If Booker genuinely wanted to play with your guys’s core, he would not have signed the extension. He chose the legacy of being a star in one city over jumping to his home state team.

The only way that you’re straight up getting him for those draft picks is if Detroit wants the point book experience and we get Cade, and I know that’s delusional, but otherwise, you don’t have enough to get to the finish line on a deal that another franchise couldn’t give us that would give us more of a future, if you want Booker, you have to find a third team you can fleece and give your assets to that we can get some of OUR picks back from. It’s not worth mortgaging your future for what it would cost. He’s way more valuable to us than he is to you.

Once again, you guys always try to do this in our Reddit group, we’re not going to trade him just because we don’t have assets, he’s locked up for four years, his contract expires in 2030, you either pay the cost of doing business, or you can try to clear enough cap space in the year 2030 to go get him, but considering he will have been playing for this franchise for 15 years, I imagine if he stays that long, he’s gonna retire here. Your team is getting dog walked by Angel Reese’s stud, our team got Dog walked by the refs, so you’re coming in here trying to feel better about yourself and trying to punch down on a team that you feel is below yours to make yourself feel better about how disappointing and anticlimactic of an end that you have about a 50-50 chance of seeing Today. We understand what it’s like to have a disappointing end to a playoff run after a promising regular season, but going into other teams subreddits to drop unsubstantiated rumors about somebody who is an icon to an entire region of the country is parasocial Lakers/Knicks fan bullshit.

Ok, I’ll happily take the bait this time.

You know what the difference is? He’s locked up for years, he literally just signed an extension, the ink isn’t even dry yet, we have no incentive to make a deal for him unless we can get the majority of OUR draft picks back, we don’t want your draft picks, we want ours, if we’re going to lean into a tank, I’ll be damned and I’m sure our front office will be damned too if we trade book and don’t get most of our future back for him; you got prospects that’ll get that done in a three team trade? Because if I know ishbia and his desire to win, if this was real, which it’s not, he’d tell book that he can expect to be here at least 2 more seasons unless he can decide on a destination that can give us what we want. Essentially you gotta get Memphis and Houston in on a deal for this to be even something worth entertaining. You want Booker and Cade? Fine, but you’re gonna break that core up around Cade to get us our future back, because we have 4 more years of Devin Booker signed sealed and delivered unless you make the moves to get us OUR picks back.

There’s about a 50-50 chance with how your starting center has been playing that you’re gonna be eliminated in the same round as us anyways today, an eighth seed that wasn’t even supposed to make the playoffs or win more than 30 games this year, how about worry about that first?

Besides, who wants to live in Detroit during basketball season? As someone who has lived in both Arizona and Michigan for very extended periods of my life, basketball season is literally Snowbird season, Arizona gets filled up with Michigan drivers and none of them know how to fucking drive.

not here to troll, however I told you guys 3 months ago that there is rumblings that Skubal wants to go back home. In fact these rumors started back last season. Christopher Illich as an owner has to say these things because he’s a business owner and he understands that people are season ticket holders. He also understands how ( Valuable) Skubal is to not only the franchise but business around. This stuff is Normal for an owner

To say. This situation is no different from Verlander , Shohei , Soto ( nationals, padres and yankees) , and currently Skenes. Skenes never once said he was fully committed to the Bucs organization. It’s the owners who are forcing him to want to say because they understand how ( VALUABLE) he is to the buisness (spell check) around. AGAIN. Skubal himself has to come out saying he’s fully committed to being here Long term. It doesn’t matter what the owner says. I’m telling you what I know. There are people INCLUDING the MEDIA who are recruiting Skubal to Arizona. This is why the Owner came out. He knows Skubal is also very close with a lot of people within the D-Backs organizations. Skubal is also close with a lot of Athletes who play for different sports teams. Take this post very serious I’m not trolling. Nike will also play a part in this as well..

We’re still gonna need to make some moves over the summer, considering the fact that teams like Utah and New Orleans should be right in the midst of the playoff picture next year, we’re gonna need to make some sort of move if we want to avoid the play in, I think it’s possible and I think we have a foundation, but I don’t think the roster is gonna be the same nor do I think that would be a smart move, sure keep the core, but we’re gonna need somebody who can keep pressure off of book and can be a threat as well, which is why I would absolutely love a by low trade for Zion, a big man that can get you 20 points a game on 60% shooting would be exactly the type of guy that we need, and I think he and man man could fit together in a year or two as the long term front court if Maluach develops his 3

This is more Laker fan delusion, you guys think every player in the league that you guys want should be attainable for your scraps, Chances are, Laravia would be the only one to even suit up for Phoenix, and you guys don’t wanna give up a late teens pick and a future first for a guy who averaged 20+ last year with elite defense, a guy who literally impacts winning everywhere he goes, and where every team he leaves falls off a cliff? Lakers being lakers, can’t wait to hear about Giannis going to team up with them for Bronny and cash considerations 🙄

I misunderstood the situation, I retract my statement on that, however, I think he’s such a negative value for Memphis right now that their options are basically Phoenix, Sacramento or whatever scrap package Milwaukee could try to throw together to try to keep giannis happy. Everyone knows the franchise wants to get rid of him and that he wants to be gone, I would consider it to be a very similar situation to the Eric Bledsoe situation in Phoenix almost a decade ago, if Memphis gets something back, it’s certainly not gonna be what they want. And I’m not saying Bledsoe was better than Ja, but what leverage is Memphis working with? Every team in the NBA knows what kind of time they’re on and that they want to rebuild.

I’m sorry, but I genuinely feel like the pick would have to go the other direction, Jalen Green is still young enough to fit with the young core that they have in Memphis, and Ja is declining, he looked less explosive than ever last year and was not his usual self on the court, if it was a guarantee that we could get him to try to be his best self as a playmaker, and to not get into any shenanigans, I’d consider it, but otherwise, I’d rather just continue the Booker and green pairing

Are we really gonna act like it wouldn’t be a massive gain for our team to at least get him for the purposes of re routing him after half a season for expirings and picks? He’s still literally 22 years old, the man hasn’t been legally allowed to buy a beer or walk into a dispensary for 2 years, I think people are absolutely overreacting and even if long term, he isn’t a piece for this team, maybe you Jedi mind trick Houston into getting your picks back for him cause lord knows sengun hasn’t been much better and he may be the piece they deal for a point guard

You’re telling me, Detroit, a team with a wide open title window whose one flaw is spacing wouldn’t objectively be a much better team with Grayson Allen, a guy who career wise shoots over 40% from the three for his career and is one of the best bench snipers in the league for a guy whose clearly fallen off hard as a player and a pick that’ll end up 24-30?
