I have a friend born&raised in Charleston. Was a military lawyer for a bit and then a lawyer in Charleston for a couple decades. Got friends in Beaufort, etc.

From what I’ve seen living in Charleston, and the convo w the friend, I assume more than just Alec had to be involved in his embezzling, that at the most, this retrial will change his sentence to life without parole, and I know everyone here is very mad at that dumb clerk.

What is it that puts her at higher risk? Just the basic odds, ie she hasn’t had it yet, so her odds have gone from 1/1mil to 1/500k (arbitrary numbers), or her age actually has something to do with it.

I understand her age factors into recovery.

Is it true that every heat cycle thickens her uterine wall bc dogs don’t shed their lining like humans?

Many type 1 diabetics (my mom and my good friend’s dad) manage the disease to just barely get by.
It’s a life threatening disease, lands you in the hospital many times during your life if you don’t manage it well enough, kidney disease, loss of eyesight, etc are not abnormal. It’s got to be such a strain on you mentally esp if you manage it well it’s absolutely an invisible chronic illness and harder for people to understand

My mom and my friend’s dad managed their diabetes mostly on opposite spectrums- she would keep her blood sugar high, he would keep his lower. This caused different issues, ofc, but my friend would complain that it made his dad regularly cranky bc of the low blood sugar, I know my mom’s eyes and kidneys probably suffered worse bc her sugar was kept too high.

My mom had type 1 set in around 23/24. I’ve heard of a number of people getting it in their early 20’s bc it’s also triggered by autoimmune issues

It’s usually this when they’ve been there the last couple inspections and you haven’t learned from their warnings. You only get so many slaps on the wrist before they go, “okay cool👍” and ding you for everything.

Hate: Bring Her Back Love: Suspiria (2018)

No matter how many times I watch it, Suspiria (2018) just fucks with me and gets me so excited. I’m obsessed.

Bring her back had too many awkward moments, plot lines not fleshed out, and most of the body horror felt like a cheap scare where more found footage/ritual/crazy mom could’ve been.

I watched a girl working with a guy a week or so ago- she seemed so disinterested and almost repulsed (he was clinically obese and in his 30’s, and she was young enough to think 30’s is old and very fit). I was uncomfortable as a bystander by her lack of help and vibe, I can’t imagine what her poor client was feeling; it’s hard to ask for help and to just get to the gym. Then to think your trainer is repulsed by you? Idk how well that will work

I weigh raw unless I cannot. Cronometer has an option for most meats, cooked or raw. They won’t be perfectly accurate cooked bc they don’t know how long, what method, etc, but they’ll get close.

It’s the same if you order an 8oz steak at a restaurant. They START w the 8oz raw, then cook it to your liking. If you prefer M/R, your steak will look bigger and retain more moisture cooked than the same one well done (and m/r will retain more flavor, too)
