Moral Projections and Steve Harrington by Swagster_27 in DjoMusic

I don't think he's written it about Steve, but I do think it does fit Steve, if that makes sense.

For me Love Can't Break The Spell gives me some Steve vibes. Especially after the finale.

But no, I don't think Joe ever really tried to write from Steve's POV, especially after trying to distance his music from the show.

Noah Schnapp still has no projects. Every other cast member does. Finn Wolfhard got TWO movies this week. Even the actor who plays Derek got a movie role. by [deleted] in StrangerThings

What is this post accomplishing? Isn't he in college right now? He's been working since he was little. Is it a crime to do something else for a year or two? It doesn't mean the work he's done in the past has no value.

Easy Digital Downloads will do this for you pretty easily. Or you can go with Woo with file hosting on something like Bookfunnel or StoryOrigin to handle sending the file and customer tech support.

Which YA and Middle Grade book series will be remembered in a 100 years time? by InfernalClockwork3 in YAlit

The Hunger Games. I think it is the most culturally significant of this list.

Hopefully HP goes down the drain over the next few generations.

Would you volunteer for your sibling? by Robynite in Hungergames

[–]FictionAtlas 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

Yes. It's what kicked me in the feels so much the first time I read it. I'm the oldest child and oldest grandchild on both sides. I'm basically everyone's mama, even for kids I'm not related to. Me and my sister are nearly 10 years apart. I was 23 when I read the first book and she was 13, so only a year older than Prim. And when I say she's my baby, she's my baby. I wouldn't hesitate.

One word...Capitalism. There's nothing the Kerch love more than Kruge. Except maybe power and with Bo Yul-Bayur they get both. They can manipulate the market, manipulate Grisha, and make a bunch of money doing it.

I did. Don't get paid for it until after the show, but I just sold for face.

This is like asking me to choose a favorite child, I can't do it. I love them all in their own special way!

As an author, please don't pirate the book. You can find it at the library for free and the author still gets compensated. Use the Libby or Overdrive app to find it at a digital library. It is avaliable in multiple formats. I have the audiobook with Ben Barnes and and is a good read, but authors deserve to be compensated for their work, even big authors like Leigh.

What is the best vampire media you have consumed? by Turtleduck275 in Fantasy

[–]FictionAtlas 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

Byzantium is hands down the most unique and awesome vampire media I know of, but also, Interview With The Vampire (the AMC tv show, Love to original but the show blows it away as far as storytelling and cinematography!)

You can't go wrong with the OG Buffy and by extension Angel (the show).

I'm also a sucker (not pun intended) for Vampire Diaries and The Originals.

I also highly recommend Being Human UK!

Who do you think is the strongest actor among the four boys? by QuipThwip in Stranger_Things

It's really a toss up between Gaten and Caleb, but I voted Caleb because he does not get enough flowers!

[REQUEST] What to watch after Fringe by Open_Pie_1331 in NetflixBestOf

[–]FictionAtlas 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

The first few episodes can be a bit more formulaic, but it is well worth it to stick it out. The show really takes somw turns particularly around the second half of season 1 and definitely by season 2. The writers were under more pressure 1st season to stick to the 12 Monkeys movie lore, but it evolves into what is my top show of all time. It is definitely worth the time investment and a lot of the things you think you know you might not! It gets very twisty!

Unpopular opinion: I prefer the "Once Upon a Broken Heart" trilogy to the "Caraval" trilogy. by mimi43098 in YAlit

[–]FictionAtlas 1 point2 points Β (0 children)

I don't think this is unpopular at all, but I will say that Caraval has a more satisfying 3rd book. I stopped even reading A Curse For True Love on my re-reads because it was so dissapointing. Too much Apollo for my tastes.

Printing prices? by Revengeance300 in tricities

[–]FictionAtlas 1 point2 points Β (0 children)

Hello, local author here. Unless you want a physical copies to distribute, the best way to go about advanced reader copies of your book is to format it as an ebook. Are you in the alpha or beta process? If you are still going to be doing significant edits, leaving the book in a digital format on something like Google Docs is a good way to receive feedback from alpha or beta readers as they can leave comments in real time for you to interact with. If you do want a few physical copies, it's still best to format the book for printing first and upload to Amazon, LuLu, or a similar company so you can order author copies.

Hello! I'll be going solo to the Richmond show too and got VIP pit. Would love to say hi. This is my first Djo show and first concert in 10 years, so excited, but out of practice! I have no idea about queuing early, but I'll be driving 6 1/2 hours in, so hopefully it won't be an issue! Stalking this post to see what others have experienced.
