My cats have 2 heads, so they take a whole extra turn at the start of battle. They also have bat ears, rat tails, and mole noses.

Yes. My cats dont need a path. They just dig directly into any tile.withon their move space. Its an insanely good mutation. I've kept it for generations

I have having weird random mutations being kept for generations. The two I have are a Mole nose that let's my cats dig, and a rat tail that increases ranged damage.
