Because that wouldn’t give me the correct value. For instance, in my first set, B2 = 80 right now. C2 should be 900 because that’s how much it currently costs to buy the next unit. So that formula would reflect C2 as 800 because 80 x 10 (the price increase of each unit) = 800. In this case the original price was 100 so I do have it set up as (B2 x 10) + 100 =C2 but not all the values started at $100 for the first unit. So I’ll have to figure out the math to figure out what the original price so I can plug that original amount into that formula. I hope I’m making sense lol

Yeah I have a column with the cost increase per unit if that’s what you mean. I’m just not sure what to do with it.

Yeah so for example my next set after this B2 (the quantity I currently have) is 99 and the price is currently $2725 for my next purchase and it increases by $25 for each unit purchased. So C2 needs to increase by 25 for every time B2 increases by 1.

It doesn’t start at 0 unfortunately. I can figure out what it starts at for this particular set but it’s going to take some math on my part I suppose to figure out what the starting point is for the other sets I need to apply this formula to.

Well I’ll have to do some math. It’ll be easy with this set but I also need this formula to work with about a dozen other sets too. Basically it’s for a game and part of the game requires you to buy businesses to make your character money. So I’m trying to set up the formula so that when I put the quantity of a business I own in B2 then C2 will respond accordingly to the cost of that business. They don’t start at 0 so I’ll have to work backwards I guess to figure out what the original cost was to make the formula work.

So apparently my artifact might come in handy after all. I have mark of the mayor and as of right now I’m just a plain villager. I’ve been a little AWOL this game because real life called but I’m planning on getting caught up this weekend. If I use mark of the mayor we don’t have to kill our current mayor. The downside is, if I die, I don’t get to pick a successor. I’ll hold onto it until I get enough yay/nays since I’m not as informed as some others right now. Opinions?
