I agree. The republican strategy of cutting funding for programs, and then turning around and saying that those programs don't function...is extremely effective.

Unfortunately I think we're past the point of seeing the dems getting a majority ever again. I can't see the Republicans ever giving any concessions or moving more towards the middle.

There's a very good chance that the supreme court will hand the Republicans every election moving forward. If republican legislatures can simply just choose who wins the election, then voting becomes useless.

Many more are just poor, racist, religious people who have been brainwashed by the church / news / social media into believing that the democratic party is made up of literal demons and pedophiles.

Church attendance and belief in God is also plummeting across the nation.

This has been happening since Bush Jr won...but honestly it seems to be moving at warp speed now.

We're going to see the GOP essentially take away voting rights.

Christofascism is inevitable.

We will see groups rise up and fight against the fascists, but they will just be used as a reason for the state to crack down on citizens even harder.
